Karsten Borgwardt, Machine Learning and Computational Biology Research Group, Max Planck Institute for Developmental Biology and Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, Tübingen, Germany.
Karsten Borgwardt leads the Machine Learning and Computational Biology research group at the MPI in Tuebingen. He has done extensive work on fast graph kernels and their applications in computational biology. He is a key collaborator on the methodological part: Graph kernels which are optimized for modeling flexibility and speed.
Marleen de Bruijne, Erasmus MC - University Medical Center Rotterdam, The Netherlands and Department of Computer Science, University of Copenhagen, Denmark
Marleen de Bruijne is PI for the lung imaging research at DIKU, and I have enjoyed a successful collaboration with her on airway shape modeling since 2010. In collaboration with Marleen and her group we will use geometric graph kernels for analysis of airway trees in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.
Tim Dyrby, Diffusion Imaging Group, Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance, Denmark.
Tim Dyrby is head of the Diffusion Imaging Group at the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance (DRCMR) at Hvidovre Hospital. I will collaborate with his group on analysis of diffusion MRI data via kernels for probabilistic, geometric graphs.
