Jenny Folkesson, Ph.D. Student
A Short Description
Jenny Folkesson received her Master degree in engineering physics from Lund Institute of
Technology, Sweden, in 2004. She spent one year of her undergraduate studies as an
exchange student at the systems design
engineering department at University of Waterloo, Canada.
She is currently a graduate student at the Department of Computer Science at University of
Copenhagen, Denmark. Part of the Ph.D. program was spent at the Laboratory for Mathematics
in Imaging at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, USA.
Her research interests involve medical image analysis, mainly pattern recognition and level set
techniques. She is working in the Osteoarthritis project in collaboration with Nordic
Bioscience.
