Extraction of Airways from CT 2009 (EXACT09)
The goal of the EXACT study is to compare algorithms to extract the airway tree from chest CT scans using a common dataset and performance evaluation method.
In the first part of the study, 15 groups worldwide ran their algorithms on the EXACT dataset and submitted the results to this website.
Experienced observers evaluated all submitted segmentations manually to construct a common reference standard to which all algorithms were subsequently compared. The results of this part of the study were presented at the 2nd International Workshop on Pulmonary Image Analysis in 2009 and in the paper
