Robot Eksperimentarium: Tips ERSP Player Driver Compilation

To compile the erspplayerdriver in (k)Ubuntu 9.04

Check out the driver through subversion.

install some needed dependencies by running sudo apt-get install build-essential autotools libtool autoreconf ncurses-dev libboost-dev libboost-thread-dev libboost-signals-dev

Go into the erspplayerdriver directory. Run make distclean and make

Make a link so that "robot-player" can also be called as "player" which the erspplayerdriver people use.

 sudo ln -s /usr/bin/robot-player /usr/bin/player

Each time you use player you must export the libraries first

 export PLAYERPATH="/home/pascal/robot/erspplayerdriver/driver/lib"

 player stage/cave/cave.cfg
