Howto mount usb drive
At the moment, only root account can mount drives in the cluster.
Key in the following command to find the link to the USB harddisk
ls -l /dev/disk/by-id/usb*
The command will give an output like
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 9 Oct 2 14:29 /dev/disk/by-id/usb-LaCie_BigDisk_XXXXXXXX -> ../../sdg lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 10 Oct 2 14:29 /dev/disk/by-id/usb-LaCie_BigDisk_XXXXXXXX-part1 -> ../../sdg1
This means that the USB harddisk is in /dev/sdg1.
Next just use mount or ntfs-3g (if it is in NTFS format) command mount the USB harddisk to a directory. Below is an example of mounting using ntfs-3g for read-only
ntfs-3g /dev/sdg1 /some_directory -o -ro
